Common questions

How do I change or withdraw my consent to personalised ads?

In the game, open Settings ▸ Ads and privacy ▸ Ad privacy settings. The option is shown where a privacy choice is required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland). On iPhone and iPad, the tracking permission is in Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking on your device; on Android, you can delete your advertising ID in the device settings (usually Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ Ads). I saw an inappropriate ad. What can I do?

Open Settings ▸ Ads and privacy ▸ Report an ad soon after you saw it. It prepares an e-mail to us with a reference to the last ad shown, so that we can report the ad to Google. You see the e-mail before you send it.

Are there ads during a match?

No. There are no ads during a match or a pause, in the tutorial, while you play a challenge, in replays, on the results screen or on the way to a rematch. Ads appear in menus, at some breaks between matches and when you open the game.

I watched an ad but got no reward.

A reward is granted only when the ad has been watched to the end. If you close it early, there is no reward and no penalty. If no ad is available, try again later. If a reward is still missing, write to us with the time and your game version.

What does the online server see?

When you play online, the game server receives your player name, your choices and inputs in the match, a temporary session token and your IP address, and keeps them only while you play. Other players in your room see your player name. Online traffic is currently not encrypted, so don't use your real name as your player name. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I change my player name?

In the game, open Profile (or Settings ▸ Profile) and change the name: up to 16 characters — letters, digits and spaces. Names that the filter rejects are replaced by the default name.

How do I delete my data?

Your profile, progress and settings are stored only on your device: uninstalling the game deletes them. You can clear the local game statistics in Settings ▸ Data. The game server keeps nothing after a match, and there is no account to delete. For advertising data, see your choices.

Does VELTRAIL have in-app purchases?

No. The game is free and financed by ads. Looks for your courier are unlocked by playing; some can be unlocked earlier by watching ads.
